HAZELGROVE FARM
Heron has teamed up with Hazelgrovel Farm for 100% grass-fed Aberdeen Angus cross beef.

Hazelgrove Farm is a small family-run farm in Ashey near Ryde. Their aim is to produce and provide fresh free-range eggs and high-quality grass-fed beef for people who are passionate about eating locally produced food that is acquired directly from the farmer.
The natural life and diet of their animals are exemplary which results in a rich natural flavour.
The Aberdeen Angus is a sturdier breed of Cow that produces meat with a high marble content which keeps the meat moist for longer, when cooking the marbling allows for a more tender juicy and flavoursome beef.
NUNWELL FARM
Heron has teamed up with Nunwell Farm to offer Purebred Belted Galloway grass-fed beef.
The Belted Galloway have natural marbling due to their slowing-growing nature and being solely grass-fed.
This creates a rich depth of flavour not found in grain-fed beef, furthermore, their thick fur means they need less fat to protect against extreme weather making the beef lean and healthier with less than 2% fat and high content in Omega 3 & 6.

Put simply, our Belted Galloway produces award-winning beef in terms of tenderness, succulence and most importantly, excellent flavour.
ISLAND FOODS
Heron has teamed up with Island Foods. Island Foods meats are traceable from farm to fork and 80% is sourced locally on the Isle of Wight
Island Foods in Ryde, and has built up a long-standing reputation as a traditional butcher where traditional methods continue to mean first-class quality and exceptional value for money. All products are prepared at their purpose-built cutting plant which is audited annually by the Food Standards Agency, The Red Tractor Farm Assurance Scheme and SALSA (Safe & Local Supplier Approval) to ensure we meet the highest possible standards.

Heron has teamed up with D J Hunt.

DJ Hunt is the Isle of Wight's leading Fruit & Vegetable Wholesaler. They are a family-run business delivering quality & freshness across the Isle of Wight for over 55 years.
​
DJ Hunt source and stock a large variety of fresh fruit, vegetables and salad. Purchasing directly from local growers means produce can go from field to fork within 24 hours.
Their purpose built warehouses cover over 7000 square feet and include large custom built walk-in refrigeration units to ensure optimum freshness of their products.
